Established in 1987 Edwards Analytical is an independent consultancy and contract laboratory for the analysis and evaluation of materials for the polymer, packaging and process industries.

During November 2005, Edwards' Analytical was incorporated as a "Private Limited Company". In September 2008, the assets were transferred to Aycliffe Analytical Services, however the Edwards' Analytical brand was so strong it could not be left behind. We are now Aycliffe Analytical Services Limited trading as Edwards' Analytical.

With new purpose built comprehensive laboratory facilities at the above address, a wide range of analytical and testing techniques are available for the identification of materials, their functional properties and compliance to the relevant legislative standards.

Edwards' Analytical prides itself on its management and quality systems. We are licensed by the MHRA as a contract laboratory being compliant with GMP  & Good Quality Laboratory Control Practice. Edwards' Analytical is also working towards becoming a member of the UK GLP Compliance Monitoring Programme. It is the policy of Edwards' Analytical to provide an accurate and economic analytical & testing service. The laboratory's policy is to achieve and maintain the standards of ISO 17025 and Good Laboratory Practice in all the projects it undertakes.

The staff of Edwards' Analytical are familiar with the contents of the Quality Manual and must always comply with the policies and procedures laid down in the Quality Manual and all associated documentation at all times.

The staff are also aware and abide by any confidentiality agreements between Edwards’ Analytical and its clients.
